Boat, Yacht and Marine surveyors

What is a boat surveyor?

What is a yacht surveyor?

What is a marine surveyor?

Boat (Noun)

A small vessel for travelling over water propelled by oars, sails or an engine

Surveyor (noun)

a person who investigates or examines something, especially boats for seaworthiness: a marine surveyor

So is a boat surveyor a yacht surveyor? Well yes, on the linked page we look a little and how they go about their business for info.

Yacht (noun)

  • A medium sized sailing boat equipped for cruising or racing
  • Powered boat built and fitted for cruising

It would appear yacht surveyors can survey sail and power yachts and that maybe yachts are bigger than boats, but then again large ships are called boats, confused?

Marine (noun)

  • Relating/ found in the sea
  • Relating to shipping or naval terms
  • Of artists/painters (depicting scenes at sea.)

So a marine surveyor is someone who investigates and examines boats and yachts on the sea. Here we look a little at how they examine and go about their practice.

I would have no hesitation in using marine surveys again or in recommending them, their service was exceptional and the price very competitive Very helpful and quickly carried out survey. Report very easy to understand and comprehensive, produced very quickly.
