Our Fees

We base our fees on giving you value for money and paying us for the work we do and our insurance costs.

We do not charge VAT.  We often do not charge travel expenses.

RIBS, Sports boats and small simple boats with outboard engines or no engines we start at £8 per foot.

Single inboard engine motor boats with few systems £8 - £10 per foot

After this we take into account the length and breadth, the complexity of the boat, her systems, her location and value and quote accordingly. We will always be fair, taking account time spent working for you at a fair rate.

MCA coding examination - Fees are set by Mecal, MCA pre examination advice and preparation - normally charged by the hour.

Tonnage fees are set by YDSA

Please note that any Cranes/lift outs, pressure washing etc. is in addition to the above.

Travel costs are free for surveys conducted in the Solent, between Eastbourne and Poole including Portsmouth, Chichester, Southampton area.
